Building Works Rules

The hours permitted for doing any reforms or building projects are as follow:

All months except July and August – Mondays to Fridays between 08:00 & 19:00 and Saturdays between 08:00 and 14:00.

Following the recently approved Spanish law which applies to building contractors and all other workers who work outside during the months of July and August and also whenever there are extreme weather warnings of Orange and Red alerts, a decision has been taken for building works to be carried out between 07:00 & 15:00 Mondays to Saturdays during the summer months. Owners and their building contractors are asked to please refrain from making noise before 08:00. It is also strictly prohibited to carry out any construction work on Sundays and bank holidays in order not to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighbours.

Emergency repairs for leaks, etc. will not be regulated by these rules.
