Following a record number of sales last year – even without an eighteen hole golf course – we move into 2024 with a fresh zest for what we hope will be another incredible year. The resort is undoubtedly evolving and it’s been exciting to see a big increase in spanish residents dipping their toe into a resort life of which we are naturally thrilled about as it gives the resort added depth as it becomes a melting pot of different nationalities, new experiences and cultures to all who live here. The Mar Menor Golf Resort is almost a stand alone lifestyle in terms of what it has to offer and is easily at the top of its game when it comes to its strength within the marketplace for both permanent and second home owners. As it has expanded, so has the Andrew Brown brand and this is something we pride ourselves on having become synonymous with a high level of no-nonsense service and customer care; there is very little we don’t know about the resort itself or the surrounding area. 

Having been fortunate to have lived here since it was a fledgling ‘one-phase-only’ resort, and indeed having raised a young family here, to have seen it evolve over those years into what it has become today is quite mind blowing. From the local village school where my children spent their informative years – when there were a mere handful of international pupils – to King’s College, the British School of Murcia – which they moved onto, subsequently gaining them access to top universities, this too has been a journey that has brought me added experience. In short, there is very little that I myself, or my multi-lingual team, do not know. 

Our office is located in the resort town centre and is the only agency situated on the resort itself. We are surrounded by a hive of activities and facilities from a five star hotel, on-site supermarket, a superb eighteen hole Nicklaus designed golf course (now fully open), sporting facilities including tennis and padel courts, a trim trail, crazy golf…..and the new Mar Menor sports club which has become a real central hub. We also have the additional benefit of the increasingly popular Boulevard with its busy bars, restaurants, pilates studio and even a hairdressers/beauty salon, all located within a short stroll from your property. The resort is sandwiched between the two towns of Torre Pacheco – a market town which is practically on our doorstep – and the fishing town/beachside resort of Los Alcazares, located on the shores of the Mar Menor salt water Lagoon. Further afield are the two diverse cities of Cartagena and Murcia….and if that isn’t enough there are two choices of international airports – Corvera and Alicante which both offer daily flights to the UK and Europe. 

The Mar Menor Golf Resort is undoubtedly Murcia’s worst kept secret now that word has spread of just how fabulous it truly is.
